Our agency offers a variety of seminars
and support groups throughout the year, which
focus on youth and family issues in an attempt to
educate individuals and strengthen families
as a whole. The following are part of this
program:
-
The
Sandcastles Divorce Education Program
Sandcastles is a program for children ages 6-17, who are
experiencing their parents' divorce. It provides a
safe environment for children to express their feelings
openly and learn how to effectively communicate them to
their parents.
-
Sandcastles
Seminars
A parent component is included to help parents
understand the short and long term impact of divorce on
their children. During the three hour session,
parents receive information on dealing with children's
anxiety, anger, and other emotions related to the
divorce.
