Where are you from?

I'm from Brooklyn, WI.

What drew you to working in this field?

Growing up with parents of a very similar background and having a daughter led me to becoming a youth mentor/case manager. My father was a local firefighter along with other multiple volunteer positions and a full-time career. My mother worked at the local school and was also heavily involved in the community. Growing up with my brothers and parents and journey in life, I've lived through a great deal of experiences. I want to use both my education and experience to help others that may struggle with the similar experiences I've dealt with in my life.

What is your educational background?

I have an Associates Diploma in Sales and Management from Ridgewater College. I also have a Firefighting Certificate and I have studied at MATC in Madison. Also, I had an internship at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.

What is your favorite thing about working with youth and families?

I was very fortunate growing up in a loving home with both parents. Every family, no matter how old, has their struggles. I enjoy working with youth and families because I like to see the positive interactions they all can share together and how to overcome obstacles. My favorite activity I'll incorporate into meetings is what they choose. I like to play board games, trivia to get to know each other better, physical activities such as basketball or soccer, and overall family time.
